As long as you give us 48 hours notice, you can change your appointment or get a refund. Within 48 hours, if your appointment was within normal business hours, you can change the appointment at no additional cost. If your appointment was outside of normal business hours and you cancel or no-show, your deposit is non-refundable.

Not at all! Half the fun is shopping around our storefront, trying on the various styles we carry, and figuring out which hat is speaking to you!

Absolutely! We love setting up at private events and weddings. Contact us as soon as you know timing so we can discuss options, pricing, and get your event on our calendar.

Usually from start to finish, the hat making process takes between 90 minutes and 2 hours.

Yes, although we may not have them in stock. If you plan to bring kids to make their own hats, contact us a week before you’re arriving and we’ll be walk you through our kids’ options. That will ensure we have enough time to custom order for your kids so they can join in on the fun.

Absolutely! It’s one of the reasons why we love being in downtown Louisville. You are always more than welcome to come in, browse our selection, and if you’re feeling inspired, make a hat! You can also come in and book an appointment for a later date if you like.

Yes we do! We have set up hat-making stations at weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, fundraisers, and community events. Contact us to let us know what you’re thinking.

You sure can, although a hat can only take so many re-shapings while maintaining its integrity. Re-shaping or re-styling a hat will come with some additional charges. If you have any questions, bring your hat in and we can walk you through the process.

Absolutely! We have branded company logos and custom images in the past. If you have an idea for this, please contact us 2 weeks before you plan to come in so we can have your custom brand made and ready to go!

Yes you can! We are lovers of all cowboy hats, whether we sold it to you or not.

If your hat is branded/burned, unfortunately not. If your hat is simply shaped and accessorized, we have a 30-day, one-time return or exchange policy. We keep a $50 service fee from every personalized hat.

Without having a prior appointment, 6 people is the most we can handle at any given time. With a private appointment and enough notice, we can accommodate up to 12 people.

Our hats are made out of a wool felt or beaver felt construction. There are varying degrees of felt count, which would dictate how soft the hats are.

To care for a cowboy hat, use a soft-bristled brush to regularly remove dust and handle the hat by the brim instead of the crown to preserve its shape. Store the hat on its crown (upside down) to prevent teh brim from flattening and keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or heat, which can cause damage. If the hat gets wet, let it air dry naturally without using heat.
